I will describe the lighting, camera angle, props, colour combinations and etc. (source: Google) Lighting - It is important to make sure we have enough source of light in order to bring out the natural colour of the food. The food becomes more appealing and appetizing to the eyes. When the angle of the light source different, it could create shadow. Based on the picture, you could guess that they used one source of lighting only. They put it from just an angle and created shadows. The lighting gives a shining effect to the olives.
